Did anyone figure out how to work our new Widgizmos? The only thing I notice is that I had on a eye patch.

As a devout Pastafarian, I very much regret not participating in the Log-a-Thon. The Widgizmo truly is a religious artifiact that allows us to draw closer to the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

When you put it on, it says on channel 1 it will convert to pirate speak..

so wear it, then do /1 Hello Mates, and it will spit out Ahoy Mates....

Also edit it, and change the listen line from llListen (1, "", "", ""

to llListen (1,"",llGetOwner(),""

so yours does not listen to everyone around you..

I got offered that item when i logged in and didn't know what it was or the person who sent it. Being a wary creature, i didn't want to take a chance that it might be something malicious so i trashed it without trying it on!

Now i'm afraid for my life as i think Capt. Jack Sparrow will haunt(hunt) me down! Not that i don't mind considering it's Johnny Depp.

Heh, glad you liked them, they were released (unfortunatley with one big bug for which I may be shrek eared) but they are modifyable, so if you want, you can fix them, and indeed, make them even better! PS, if you didn't get one, and are wondering why, it might be because you didn't log in for the last Log-a-thon.

There is a line that says

CODE

if(id = llGetOwner())

change this to

CODE

if(id == llGetOwner())

so 2 "=" instead of one.
