Refund or not?

Friday= not much done, couldn't get in several times

Sat.=Spent 3 hrs trying the 3 times I had to log off

Sun= 1/2 day couldn't log in

Couldn't get to my folders in my inventory...

Monday= 1/2 day update, can't do nothing in SL

Where is my money going? The money I pay each month?

I am sure many people were worst and couldn't get in at all, plus they pay for islands and sims, that is a lot of money to play for a game...

Do we need a refund? Let's protect... I am sure NOT HAPPY at all!!!

C'mmon lindens give us a refund, people will tier down and even leave if you don't give some kind of refund to fun... is not our fault.... Make our money worth..

I agree with you 100% Palomma, but unfortunatly, LL can do pretty much whatever they want. In their TOS they state that they are not liable to any outages people may expierience and do not have to refund us.

It's a bummer for us but it puts an extra doughnut on Philip's desk every mornin!

I'm sure last time lots of downtime happened, I got a refund in my tier payments, but it wasn't really all that much, and lets face it, its mental anguish more than money

come on, you spent max 2 days without beeing able to log in, i know how you feel because im TEH NERD, but theres really nothing you can do about it.

I think a hug from Adam Linden would be "refund" enough for me. I'm not greedy and I have a thing for gay Lumberjacks.

Refunds would be nice, but like I said last time it was a matter of pence, didn't really make up for the 3 days I couldn't log in, and it definately didn't amount to nearly as much as I would probably make IW for those 3 days.

Maybe we should all get a free months tier , or Free Months Subscription OR just give us all 10k and be done with it

Well, some us are trying to do business in SL. It's not *just* a game. I
t would indeed be nice if LL ran their service in a more businesslike fashion.

We shall just have to wait and see what they decide to do about this outage.
What I find most worrying is that all the signs of impending doom have been evident over the last few days - yet nothing seems to have been done until the excrement well and truly hit the fan!

your right Doc, but thats wot we all said the last time there was an outage... it was fixed but it was obviouse it was not a permanent fix. and yes, we do have businesses and outtages do narf up our sales but there's nothing we can do about it

Got one last time, so I don't see why not this time, though I'd understand the logic behind waiting until everything's up to receive whatever compensation you'd be getting.

I pay $37.50 USD per day in tier fees. A 3 day credit would be substantial for me.

I received a refund one time, I remember... we have all been suffering here.... and for a few days all together... not a simple outrage... you know?

Some kind of credit.... I don't know, just like when you buy something doesn't work at the store, sometimes you get some kinda credit... lol

If LL had a service for business owners that precluded graph 7.2 above, it would be way too expensive. That being said, there were still about 1500 people in game at any given time. It was just the payments and sales system that was borked!
