Whew what a flick. I love movies like this.

I think if you like this film, though not dealing with time travel, you'd also like Memento.

Primer was a super-buy and I'm glad I bought it. :)

"Someone should go back in time and track down the grandparents of everyone responsible for Primer and sterilize their ancestors at birth, so that this awful nightmare could be prevented in it's entirety.

Always a lover of science fiction, I have seen many a time-travel movie, most of them bad, some of them very bad. In choosing to see Primer, my thought was, "It might be good. Besides, how bad could it be?" Let me tell you, for seventy seven minutes time nearly stood still, so that when finally I had reached the end and awakened from this horrific and painful nightmare, I felt I had aged about seventy seven DAYS.

Forget the death penalty. Take the worst criminals and strap them into a comfortable chair with their eyes taped open. Run an IV with chemicals to keep them awake forever. Play Primer again and again so they are forced to watch it. After the tenth time, let them loose and they will surely gouge out their own eyeballs, stab their eardrums with pencils, weep endless and beg for mercy."

A review from an Amazon customer... I don't think they liked it very much.

No hating here - but I do get a kick out of the invocation of Heisenberg followed by the declaration of predictability. :D

Irony as humor. Intended. :)

It basically explains that one should NEVER mess with timelines.
Of course, all this shinigans should have gotten them written out of the universe entirely to begin with.

OK, I watched it but didn't understand a lot of it. Maybe someone can explain.

1. I totally don't understand the bit about the time traveling Granger guy

2. Why did things get so crazy? Why did Abe and Aaron get so mad at each other? It seems to get unnecessarily complicated fast. It's like they were trying to repair a mistake that I never saw.

Very confused

Showed up over the weekend. I had to watch it twice, and the second time i had to diagram out the events of the film, but I finally made sense of it, and it's fantastic. Thanks Panda.
