Hello everyone, I've produced a short test promotion trailer for Second life and would like to know whether people can firstly see/play it and also what people think of it. This is my first attempt at anything like this and so would appreciate some feedback so I can make the next better  I've uploaded the video files to my website here , so perhaps someone could take a look and let me know if they work for them (as I wasn't sure if I had coverted them correctly). First off, I'm glad people can see it I'm only on a relatively cheap web host, so probably not the fastest. If anyone likes the trailer, and has access to some bandwidth, perhaps someone else could mirror the downloads (i will then update the site to include them?) If so let me know. Total. |

wow, impressive. lol what kind of vid card are you using and processor? you had some pretty good framerates in some places with draw distances that should be pretty difficult

I filmed most of the footage on a Dell Dimension 8400 desktop (P4 3.0ghz/Nvidia 6800).

I downloaded the higher res version because I didn't want to deal with the domain and such (I do that most of the time to see things as best as possable anyways) and I think it's amazing! I'm so glad I participated in the making of this trailer as it's such a well done project. Way to go, Total!

To help with faster downloads, I've added the files to filefront, so that should hopefully give people a better connection. Links have been added to the download site. I'm got plans to produce some actual films, so just think of this as a very small taster. Total. |

Wow, that's really great, Total. Very impressive.
The WMV crashed my browser, not sure why. You might want to look into that. The MP4 wirked great though.

OMFG!!!!! That was amazing. Seriously great work. I am awaiting your next project! Thank you very much for using Parrot Island in your video. Feel free to film there anytime! It certainly puts my little videos to shame! I am going to have to get FRAPS and go full motion in the future to keep up with you. On Preview: the wmv from filefront worked fine in WMP 10.

That is funderful video which really shows the spirit of SL -- I'm hoping Lindens take a good look at this! Pretty nice for editing, considering the video effects didn't seem to involve any highcontrast trix so it was pretty rare apart from the snippity snip. Great to see all the positive reaction to it too, KEEP UP THE FANTASTIK WERK TOTAL!!!
P.S. My only gripe would be the use of the word "television" in the song... but eh...
