Taken RIGHT OFF the CNN website. Find it here http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0509/01/sitroom.02.htmlBLITZER: These pictures over here, look at this, individuals continuing to do what we've been seeing for days now, simply walking through the water. We have to assume it's disgusting water, and rapidly becoming disease-filled water, just trying to get to some location with what meager possessions they have. We see that picture over and over and over again. As much as you see that picture, though, you simply get chills every time you see these poor individuals, as Jack Cafferty just pointed out, so tragically, so many of these people, almost all of them that we see, are so poor and they are so black, and this is going to raise lots of questions for people who are watching this story unfold.

Well I tried, Wolf, sorry... if anyone takes notice you're in deep shit. I still don't know what the hell he was talking about though. Not in a racist/bigoted or non-racist/non-bigoted way, or any possible interpretation of that sentence. WTF is he talking about? Did he misspeak?

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Operative is the sentence "... and this is going to raise lots of questions for people who are watching this story unfold." I wonder how the blogosphere is gonna tag onto this. Appropriately, however, he does precede his comments by directly commenting on the literal filth of the situation. Mud does make a person dark, so maybe he meant "black" as in the color, not in the ethnic sense?

EDIT: Nevermind, sleepless hallucination. LOL ..."literal filth" I'm so stupid today. lol

Meh. A news source will always be biased in some way, much like how they propagate the view that young arab males are terrorists (remember folks, we have our own, including whacko environmentalists). Finding stories with a particular slant or bias isn't surprising. I task you, instead, to find a journalist without a hidden agenda. Or, for that matter, anyone on these boards without one (hi Torley!).

Even the simplest observation is made for a reason, even if that reason is stupid.

To me, Neocon is a MMORPG! Oh wait, that's Neocron. I have no idea what a Neocon is except Rolling Stones think they're sweet. O hey Jeffrey! I'm totally biased, and I'm here to show it.
