More scripts to be released?

Forgive me if I've reached the wrong obvious reason, but it seems to me the only possible reason not to give that info out is to protect this vapid little twit from the rightful outrage of the community. Then why not yell at someone else that oviosuly blocked the information on SLuniverse from staying published? Also realize the release of this information is a TOS violation (website might not be.) but the rest is and LL can be held liable. Obviosuly with the agressiveness of your post any "rightful outrage" would further bring a harassment suit up filed against you in a court of law possibly by the hacker. Just a few things to think about.

From: Ardith Mifflin The website shouldn't remain up, though. We're on pretty firm legal ground here. The provider of the website should be notified of the infringing content. The providor (Dreamhost) are not taking the content down. We (the people who have content in the `lsl.zip`) have already tried, they are not responding to abuse, DMCA or just play copyright infringement notices. -Adam |

It may be time to start assigning blame to LL's lack of forethought about security. They haven't taken people' request over the past year or more about providing stronger security with IP in SL. We've had various bugs over the 2 year life of SL, which have come and gone, regarding theft of various types of IP (textures, objects, scripts).
However, we now have an active asshole taunting some really good content providers in SL (even as I speak), releasing their hard work on the Internet, and making a mockery of the fact that people have put a lot of good work into developing SL. When is LL going to step up and take IP security seriously?

And in this case, it was *not* intended for any good at all. And I don't think it is fair to say that people are not thinking about these things. I can fully imagine they are. Just because they didn't think of the thing that was able to exploit them, doesn't mean they think they are 100% invulnerable.
