Ok after the update last night, I thoroughly expected some problems with tp, inventory whatever. I THOUGHT that was confirmed when talking to a friend and she said, "damn tp, I can't get anywhere again."
I asked her to try to tp me and I went just fine. When I got there, she said she was taking some things off to try to get somewhere. I said, "well how many attachments do you have?"
Her reply? 15!!!!!
I told her, "Holy crap, no wonder you can't go anywhere, your ass is weighted down with attachments." All along, I thought the 5 I had on were a bit excessive. That made me wonder if I was in the norm or what.
So, fess up...how many attachments does everyone have?

depending on which boots and hair 5-7.
When i had TP problems and took them off , the only advantage I got, really, was the TP would fail faster. |

But I do adhere to requests to not wear hoochie hair at rather large events etc by going back to my first hair (non primmed). _____________________

Its not just the number of attachments - you have to factor in the prims per attachment and also I imagine scripts as well. I usually have 5 on. _____________________

I'm a lag monster from hell I have about 10-15 any given time, but I also rarely leave my own land and I think the most people I have ever seen in the sim at once is like 10, so I only lag myself and my close friends lol

Depending on what av I'm wearing I run anywhere from two to 15 attachments. In my experience, though, it's the scripted attachments that make the sim choke on "saving". The unscripted stuff moves along just fine.

I think I usually have 4 or 5, but all I have to do is put on some prim boots or purse and some jewelry and it can shoot right up.

If I wear a furry avie the number changes and I'm unsure of the exact ammount then. In "human" avie form.
Hug/kiss script, multilink, steel angel wings, glasses, weapon shield, leash holder (for D/s collars), Master Ring, Cell phone, and um...a stroker attachment. 9 it seems but I think I forgot something. LOL _____________________

I might wear a scabbard=5 prims, a tricorne=5 prims, a cloak= 2 prims.... or I might wear no prims at all... I may be almost the last person left without prim hair. Some of the prim hair looks nice, but other dos I've seen look like Tammy Faye on a bad day.

Usually 3 which are my earrings and bracelet and 4 if I go all out and wear a necklace. I just can't get into wearing prim hair, prim shoes and bling.

Usually just three, I think - glasses and two earrings.
But the glasses have a script in them that lets you change the color. They don't DO anything, just it's there for when you want to change the color. Does that count as a scripted object? In terms of lag? coco |

Realistically though, lets see: hair 3 prims, glasses 6 prims, ring, 1 prim, watch 4 prims, and shoes that go with jeans which are what I wear 99% of the time (3 prims at most). Still and all it means I travel around wearing between 17 to 20 prims at any one time. edited to say I forgot the earings, so add 2 more prims.... _____________________
