I thought the meeting was very productive as well. Lots of people came up with some very good ideas and some solid plans for implimenting them
I'm going to start speaking to some retailers, telling them about what we're trying to organize, and see how many we can get on board. I'm also going to contact Merwan about holding an SL Etiquette Class/Buy From Original Creators promotion. Juro, should I have the interested retailors contact you for a No copy/No Transfer copy of the seal? I'd like one for my own store in Hachiman, of course. Feel free to come check my stuff and make sure it's all my own creation.  _____________________

And Juro, how is the seal coming... not heard anything since the meeting. Note to interested parties: Another idea while we're getting RATE live. What about a Thread where we can each post our free/$1 items and where they can get them, in a hope to head off potential thieves before they sell any marked up? _____________________

To everyone I dropped the RATE guidelines first draft on, please get back to me with your thoughts. As soon as we get the guidelines to where everyone is comfortable with them we can get started. The seal looks great, although it says "retail associaction of trace and commerce" which would actually be RATC. I personally like RATC better since it doesn't carry the same negative connotations that RATE does As for the heading off potential thieves at the pass, I'm hoping the freebie trail vendors will help in that. The vendor is built and just waiting for moopf to finish the coding. They'll be ready to be picked up in a couple of days. When both the guidelines and vendors are done we should have another meeting to hash out the final details and any additional thoughts people have. _____________________

I'd also like to see a push to promote the Stillman Bazarre. I've placed a couple of things there, but I could certainly put a freebie vendor there too.

Cyrus' place and my place are right over the hill in Stillman, so I keep an eye on it all the time, as I've placed a few things out there too. Usually, it's a pretty quiet area, but over the last 2 weeks there are always people there. I've taken to harassing the Lindens about cleaning it up and trying to organize it better. I also notify them when someone puts out an object for sale (other than for $0). |

Yet another name ya'll might want to put a ban on.. Diamonique Livingston.
Selling numerous cheap/free items for large markups. She was contacted by Talen, as was the mall owner. The mall owner promptly deleted her stuff, and she promptly went right back and replaced it all. Last I heard, the mall owner had been contacted again, and hopefully will be deleting again and banning. _____________________

The permissions on mine are just fine, Juro. The seal looks great, and I think Commerce works just as well, even if it doesn't fit the acronym.
Well done, and thank you! Now maybe we should go a giant hideous one to put on shops that resell other peoples' merchandise. Something glaring and obvious that people can spot from a mile away. Maybe a big picture of Pre-Trim Spa Anna Nicole Smith. _____________________
