First to go under the hammer are: an as-of-yet unnamed private island...
The private island –- will be auctioned to a single buyer for *US Dollars.

How many players are there who are interested, willing to bid US$, able to afford a winning bid, and up for paying $195 per month for the land allotment?

P.S.: The good news is, 6 new sims, 5 of them Mature.

I'm curious how much an island will go for .. if it is an island does it count as an entire Sim . That 195 would be a pretty hefty monthly fee.

Holy Cow! Selling an entire private island as a single plot of land? Just who is going to afford this? Probably the Chance Small Bribery - er, Appreciation - Land Trust. ;)

There's just going to be an explosion of choices to make over the next few weeks.

To the winner: If you will be looking for architecture and contracting services, please consider Skyhook Construction Co. (me and a couple of friends). We offer expertise in large-scale projects and scripted building tools. Stop by Gray to see a bit of our handiwork. :D

I hope no new sim will be attached north of Olive. I like my 60m backyard cliff. :(

I've been afraid of this as well. I figure sooner or later I'll lose my ocean front view with the expansion of the world.

Anyone who gets a lot north of SuluMor's Olive home will have a 60m hole in their backyard. :)

Oh a private island. Darn that I have be gone during this auction of it. Would loved to see what becomes of it though and how much it will sell for at the end of the auction. Do people bid on the boards here or in IMs or what on that island?

This map is from June 19, showing some 'planned expansion'.

Along the top row are the new sims named, and yes, it seems Olive will lose its view.

This map is likely not exact (we're getting more Mature sims than it denotes) but it's an idea.

The northern part is pretty accurate except there will be more M sims - and the very east part of the peninsula will be different.

The plan is for the PG sim to be Bisque, to the west of Chartreuse, and there will be four M sims to the east of Chartreuse.
