I have a life account. I have literally invested hundreds of dollars since October 2003 (or January 2004) in owning large chunks of land in both Teal and Zoe. Time: I have spent countless hours both theorizing on and building practcal applications within Second Life. Dedication: I have dedicated bandwidth and hosting space helping the SL History Wiki get started. I have worked with groups that were interested in making a clean, scenic Second Life. I have been an official Instructor for the Lindens, teaching newbie classes and answering newbie questions. Every LSL script I have written for an in-world application has either been put in the Scripting Library or stuck in a notecard for everyone to see. I am a major stakeholder in Second Life _____________________

I have fun here. I express my opinions, just as I do in my 1st life. I make stuff, chat, play etc. just as I do in my 1st life. I have a lil bit o'land of my own, just as I have a lil apt. in my 1st life. I believe I matter. I am delusional. (ask my shrink!) I have a stick/stake. I hold it from time to time. It is a backscratcher. It makes me feel better, just like time in SL does. I am a stake/backscratcher holder, and I am happier for it. I like to tour SL to see what's up in other areas. I visit new and interesting builds in SL. I visit new sims. I am a tourist in SL This does not negate my happy, back-scratching status! /steps off soapbox _____________________

My Dad had a favorite backscratcher (buried in his coffin when he died) and I always used to scratch his back as a kid. That legacy really continues on... and what you say, it holds true for me too. I just build stuff, and annoy Marcos, Ingrid, Toast, Nylon and Barnesworth whenever the mood strikes me. Thats about it. I occasionally travel to do these things in person. Its true. Bugging me takes a big commitment too, I say maxx is very commited and invested in his work. _____________________
