or the common 1 to 3 seater planes (ex cubeys planes) I voted for the small planes, but I might be biased. ![]() _____________________

Hahaha, unexpected comedy looking at the people who voted for small planes.

Nah. Well, maybe. Fact is, deciding on the scale of your building based on a forum poll probably isn't all that wise. James should build for himself first, then worry about what others want.

I have a really HUGE airship (The Prim Reaper) that launches small one-man craft as well as six-man assault ships. So I might be a little skewed. You use the right tool for the job. Sometimes I need to deliver a world of hurt with a tac squad, sometimes I need a flying bomb.

Is this one of those penis things? Idunno. Granted, my Prim Reaper is massive phallic ship that opens in the front and spews forth with FreakRockets, which are large phallic rocketbikes with red tips (only L$699). Only a complete pervert would think this was a penis thing. |

Count me in as one of those complete perverts As for the reasons behind my vote for smaller aircraft is that , perhaps it is just me, but I have had some issues with large aircraft and sim crossings such as parts just come up missing after a border crossing. Also, it is much easier to navigate and land a smaller aircraft in a crowded downtown city type land plot, those roads do look like runways from 200Meters up (sorry if I crashed into anyones house lately) _____________________

Where's the "Both" option ? I make MC15j and Mehves (tiny!) and 100+m long space cruisers alike.

If there was a way to make avatars (and their hitboxes) even smaller, you could make even tinier aircraft, and then flying from Busy Ben's to Abbots would seem like a real cross country. Not to mention, of course, that buzzing around inside a house like a fly beats hitting every other skybox in the sky.
In reality, I like the bigger craft, but since SL is so painfully cramped, and because there's so much crap in the sky, it might be better to go with smaller stuff. I can imagine an aeronautical chart for SL would consisting of nothing but ^^'s in a solid block of yellow, plus a bunch of no fly zones for anti-social folk's properties. |

Hmm Actually, i had quite a few visitors coming in daily...i thought it may have been the price so i lowered them to half price...still no sales. but since i closed my shop a week or so ago i just build for myself and friends ![]() What was half-price? Personally, I rarely purchase anything that costs more than L$500. Only if the item is particularly cool or interesting will I go above that. All of the items which I currently sell go for L$200. If your planes were too highly priced initially, perhaps that explains the low demand. Even at L$200, I don't make too many sales. Usually around 3-6 items a week. I blame it on stagnant inventory and low visibility. I should really advertise more, but that's too much bother. |

It's also that there is a glut of vehicles on the market. In 2004 it was a lot easier, but now there are a lot more people making vehicles.
I would sell my stuff cheaper to increase volume, but F that. I put too much work into my jets to sell them for less. People are willing to pay much more than I charge for some trinket someone threw together in a couple of days (if that). _____________________
