Ok. So, I saw a thread about personal information being spread in the forums and decided to click. After reading the first post, I knew it was going to be a flame war and I thought, "Great, this should be exciting! The human drama, clash of titanic egos, a glorious fireworks show!" But no. It was exhausting. I literally could not finish reading the thread and stopped in disgust at page 6. Why? Lack of imagination. If I hear "You reap what you sow" or "Excuse me, but" (as in "How dare you!"  or any other number of hackneyed sayings one more f#c%ing time, I'm going to pie you. -And it's going to be deep-dish, baby. It'll be overcooked, with a crackly crust and variegated jelly fillings that have become dark and inedible- exactly like your trite expressions (yet sweeter and laced with unknown carcinogens). And just when you can't take any more, I'll call in the big boys. I'm going to enlist Maxx Monde's mean cream pie skills to finish the job. You call yourselves egotists. Pfft. I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU to get through an entire flamewar without reducing yourselves to hyperbanality. Nothing can beat that dare, so there. Prove yourselves.

Imagination is a concept I've never been able to grasp, and "trite" describes my deepest thoughts. No, I dare not risk proving myself, because I know I will fail. I apologize to anyone who has any mental special needs that could have been considered retardation before the term became un-PC. It was not my intent to challenge any special-needs persons to any kind of duel with that question. The proof that I didn't intend to fight is that I know I would surely lose to anyone with delayed synaptic responses or any other special-needs caused impediment to pain sensation or fear.
