My, my the clock in the sky is pounding away
There's so much to say
A face, a voice, an overdub has no choice
And it cannot rejoice

Wanting to be, to hear and to see
Crying to the sky

But the porpoise is laughing good-bye, good-bye
good-bye, good-bye, good-bye

Clicks, clacks
Riding the backs of giraffes for laughs is alright for a while
The ego sings of castles and kings and things
That go with a life of style

Wanting to feel, to know what is real
Living is a lie

But the porpoise is waiting good-bye, good-bye
Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye
Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye
Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye

On June 27 Tyson devastated Spinks, defeating him in a mere 91 seconds.

That recent events constitute victory to some people is a sad thing for Second Life. This was a defeat for the community all around. If that was a victory, is it the kind of thing you want to see more of? I don't. Even giving Prokofy the silent treatment would have been more of a victory than this. He was an inflammatory pain in the ass in these forums and more than a bit paranoid, but he did no one any real harm. It's too bad that the best solution he and the community could come up with was a divisive one. I, for one, hope we can forge better "victories" in future.

I agree - it doesn’t feel like a victory to me, in fact, between Prok being banned, the need for the Lindens to implement reprimand via forum censor and Torley leaving, I feel down right downhearted. :(

OK, this thread seems to have turned into something that is referencing recent issues of banning.

That's really not appropriate. Disclipinary measures in SL are a private issue between the Residents directly involved and Linden Lab. And talking disparagingly about people who cannot directly reply is unfair, regardless of the interpersonal conflicts involved.

As such, I'm going to close this thread.
