Is New York the site for 2006 as well? If so I'll start saving now for airfare.

We're *hoping* to have a little extra money left over to help go toward securing non-profit status and/or paying toward next year's convention. _____________________

What's the dish on the one in 10 days Hiro?
I'm just going to the open bar party, but I'd like to know if I have a chance to fit in more strip clubs instead. |

Next year? Will that be enough time to have the sky replaced?

The SL Forum sky replacement is much like the eyewall regeneration cycle of a hurricane. Have faith.

hehehehe, New York was a natural place for it to happen this year because of State of Play being the same weekend. Who knows for 2006? Hopefully somewhere with cheaper hotels.

Sidney, always wanted to go there.....
Or D.C. We can show you some big stone buildings with dead presidents names on them. Oh and the Spy Museum... - Sam _____________________

I STILL have a free pass to the convention for anyone to grab. It will suck if I see this go unused.

I vote for something more middle-of-the-country next year, like... say... I dunno, Detroit.
![]() Lots of public venues to go to, cheap hotels, enough bars to drink in... And I can ATTEND ![]() Just food for thought. Lf _____________________

I vote Chicago. Cheap and plentiful flights, fair hotel prices, public transportation, awesome nightlife, good food.
Vegas is ok because you can fly there cheap but the flight there is horrible and long, and you are trapped on a plane with drunk people getting drunker. |

I also vote Chicago because then I can get drunk with Eboni, and hopefully she knows a few cops that will look the other way when we terrorize downtown. |

Seriously, i say new orleans. Every little bit of money put into that place will help. Plus I have family/bussiness down there so i might be able to contribute.

I would think hotel prices in New Orleans will be cheap next year.
But Vegas would rock! Cheap hotels, cheap food, cheap drinks, strip clubs, hookers and gambling! _____________________

I'll throw my hat into the Chicago side, as it's only 4 hours away from me. And it gives me an excuse to finally visit the city.

I'll vote for Vegas, as it's close enough for the California/Arizona folk to get to - kinda symetrically opposite NY geographically.
