More time in Second Life - but my excuse is that I work in T.V.
If it wasn't Second Life, I'd be reading a book, programming, or playing guitar.

I rarely watch TV since I came to SL.
I can go for weeks without turning it on.

Ironically, one of the perks that sold me on my computer was that it could record TV shows and play movies. Within two weeks of getting my machine, I discovered Second Life (Feb '04) , and have yet to record a TV show or watch a movie on it! Crazy, no?

TV is only good for The Daily Show - and even then I can catch the highlights on their website.

Oh, yeah - TV is good for The Sopranos whenever HBO gets the next season cookin'. Kinda sad I spend $65/month for two shows, once of which isn't even on right now.

Both! I, too, have a TV near the monitor. Mostly use the TV for background noise, or to occupy me in lull moments in which nothing's happening.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. The only two shows I watch nowadays is "The Shield" and "Deadwood".

Thank God for ReplayTV otherwise I would probably be missing them too.

I actually watxh TV only when I'm playing SL. Well..except for watching movies on DVD or VHS.

But often when I log off SL, and have some liesure time, I'll either hop onto CoH for a few short missions, or else crack open a good book.

I dropped cable TV a couple of years ago and I can't even get local channels without it. The only thing I use my TV for now is to watch an occasional movie on DVD.

I don't miss most TV programming at all.

I actually sat in my little SL home and watched an entire god awful 50's scf-fi movie this evening. Does it count as SL, TV in SL, or "you need to get out more"?

I used to watch a lot of TV, so much that I started talking like Max Headroom. I kid you not. But, that ended a few years ago when my satellite dish broke down and then there was really nothing left except for much ado about static, so I've focused my time on more interactive pursuits.

I haven't watched TV regularly since ST:TNG went off the air. (no, not a die hard Trekkie, but it was the show I made sure to watch. The staggering number of commercials and thier constant repeating have driven me away. I will every now and then watch the History Channel or The West Wing occasionally.
