B&J Coffee?! Huh. Dunno why but never woulda thunk. Think I tried it once...... I've been happy w/Haagen Daaz... Hate it when I eat the whole thing, though.

I agree about the toothache. Any day without a toothache, or heaven forbid, something worse, is a great day!

SL-related, I just found out about the Tiny Critter Expo, and Surreal let me put my boxed Tiny houses on display there.

As I walked around (well, waddled around) and looked at everything ("Weapons of Tiny Destruction! Just because you're small, don't let people push you around!" lol), I was again struck by these amazing creations, not to mention all the items and accessories that have been created for them.

Any professional game-maker or 3-D artist would surely consider this some of their finest work, had they done it. New Tinies have sprouted since I last checked, and each is another small work of art. They are first-class. And so are the things people have made for them.

I may have missed a lot of things, not being in SL from the beginning, but I sure am glad I didn't miss this!

We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and I had shrimp and mushroom fajitas and a large strawberry margarita. On the way home, we stopped at a bookstore so I could buy Cory Doctorow's new book, Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town. There were all these people there dressed up as Harry Potter characters in anticipation of tonight's release of the latest book in the series. It was rather amusing.

My cats are cute.

My boyfriend bought a PSP with Lumines. Since we live together it is effectively my PSP too, provided I get him off of it. :)

I'm almost done my SL store.

Are you two really cohabitating? If so, how is Surreal related to you? Is she an alt or a friend?

You miss the hectoring bunny? It was easy to spot, wasn't it?

I'll consider it this weekend. :)

Had dinner at my Pops' house, he surprised me w/a new (to me) very spiffy Digital camera, w/all the accoutrement!

Oh, and there was chocolate pudding, with whipped cream AND a cherry!

Got to pet the kitty, too (fuzzy, quadripedal, hair ball-puking RL type)!

And the rest of the day was 100% drama-free.

:D

WTF?

Well if co-habitating = married for 8 years then yes...

... And Surreal is a friend I have in Second Life.

And while I'm at it.. whats up with your obsession with alts?

Ummm, Siggy, just a little hint here... being - shall we say - "intimate" with yourself on a daily basis is not considered marriage in most states and commonwealths in the United States. Maybe in Australia....

I think she is trying to shape our opinion of her posts by using a new cuter more personable icon.
Although the bunny was pretty damn cute too.
:)

I wonder if we should be scared about the "Ah-nold" reference?

Yes, we've been married for 8 years. Surreal is an online friend we've never met in real life. Not sure why you'd ask about her being an alt.

(I swear Ferran, I didn't touch her!)

Fascinating! So Surreal and Ferran are friends or a couple too then?

I reason I ask is that my time in SL is growing short. I give birth in about six weeks and I expect I won't be around very much if at all (although who knows, it's my first). It hit me that there a folks who I've been talking to on the forums for over a year that I barely know. I noticed that you all tend to run together, so I thought I'd take the time to learn a little about folks, while I have the time. :)

The icon I have now is actually one of my original forum icons. I went to the hectoring bunny after a little forum war which ended in someone posting that picture with the title "Ulrika the Hectoring Bunny". (I had "Hectoring Bunny" as my forum label.) I instantly coopted the image as my new forum icon, although I always thought it was a bit harsh.

Lately, I've been having a lot of casual fun in the forums, so I thought it was time I went back to my old icon.

Yes, Siggy is my husband. Ferran and Surreal are his usual partners-in-crime in SL. Whenever Ferran and Siggy are together, it's a safe idea just to put on a helmet, duck-and-cover, and move all minors out of view of your monitor, because something is about to happen.

As to Ferran and Surreal's relationship, I'll leave that for them to comment on or not, as they prefer.
