Every time I hear this song I want to become a vampire so that I can never see the light of day again: Terry Jacks "Seasons In The Sun" This song wins by a mile. It's the cheesiest mainstream song ever written. I can't listen to it, and I can still suck up an occasional Debbie Boone exposure, just for giggles. From what I hear, this guy is still cruising around on a boat in the Sunny Carribe, living off the royalties from this abomination. I don't know who ticked him off, but he got sweet revenge on us all. Even though it doesn't rank with "Seasons in the Sun", I will mention Jackie DeShannon's "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" as a serious contender. |
