Speaking of ponies, I need to revise my opinion now. The pony is in my opinion no longer the biggest, single most obvious waste of LL time and resources. This little public listening, light-emitting, surroundings-sensoring, lag-inducing sphere completely redefines the term 'waste' for me.

I thought about some of the comments in this thread as I was experimenting with my Benshee. Yes, it might be a little laggy, but I think it's meant for special occaisions.

I think we should take this in the spirit it was given.

On my job, we used to have these Safety incentives and holiday gifts. I thought it was something neat to look forward to and the people organizing everything put a lot of thought into it. But then people started to complain or take it for granted and eventually they all went away.

Why can't we just say thank you and leave it at that?

i have started a strict training regimen for my benshee. its bed is a piece of cardboard in my garage, i got it a spiked collar. i feed it only bones it has to break and suck the marrow out of for sustenance. i am not going to go into details but by the time i am done, my benshee is gonna be able to kick the tar outta your benshee.

i will be staging benshee fights at my home soon. all betting will be side bets and not condoned or supported by the house.

In the Early 90's this television show came on about a bunch of High School kids. After a few year the actors all went on to other things except this guy who played the "nerd" of the group.

This show went on in different variations:

Saved by the Bell: Hawiian Style
Saved by the Bell: The College Years
Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas
and finally Saved by the Bell: The New Class

Screech continued on the show up until 2000 where he returned as a guidance counselor or something. I have no idea what he's up to now. His character was always a little annoying and sad, even as a guidance counselor.

I just realized I spent 10 minutes researching that and summing it up. I have got to find something more constructive for my Friday Nights.

It's cool and a gift of thanks from LL is something I'll enjoy. Not quite sure what they actually do when they get together (tribbles, anyone?)..... and I hear a rumor they're going to give them away to everyone eventually anyway (not sure if these first bear some special mark or not), but still, a gift is a gift and I'm pleased with mine.

Well I heard the name of the show before, but I never saw it.
I must say it seems kind of unkind to call a pleasant looking young man like that "screech".

I think it had more to do with the sound of his voice.

He seemed pretty cool in RL, but in ten years his character *never* evolved past annoying sidekick status.

He was really really buff when he went on that celebrity boxing awhile back.

He tried a comedy act, I saw a bit of it on tv. "I was doing tv, now I'm doing standup. Next week I'll be doing security with Gary Coleman."

As for the Benshee, it I didn't get one, oh well. I'm sure I'll be stepping all over them later.

Negativity? Only a negative impact on my sim, here's the long version:

In fact no it was an observation. I observed my sim fps plummet when 12 ppl came to my sim with these little lag monsters. They started to cause some lag on a game we were playing. I asked that ppl remove them. Once they did the sim fps went back to its normal; no lag state.

you should of quoted Schwan instead, I will do it for you "!bcrap" I would say that is negative, wouldn't you?

I didn't get one... I saw some last night, and after that, I wouldn't want one...
