I still like to drop into Shelter now and again, even though I've become somewhat of a hermit.... great 80's music, and Travis and everybody there are always ultranice, no escorts or scantily clad dancers, *plus* they have free stuff for newbies *and* Travis does a game show. How much more fun do you need?

Nope Seldon, I haven't, but use/read quite a few for MMORPG's where the majority of the posts are 1337 or people making "your mother" jokes. With regard to these posts, they had no positive merit associated with them except to put another poster down. Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled club post...didn't mean to de-rail.

as far as clubs go, though, I enjoy the company at the phoenix spa and hotsprings most of the time. good people, events that are different from the norm, good times.

Some thoughts on clubs -

Edge -
My friend said that The Edge was "A mall with a dance floor instead of a food court" Ive noticed its Extremely busy and runs very slowly on my computer even for the number of people there (2fps)

Gspot -
I have friends who work here so I do like to go from time to time. To be honest if a pretty open sexual atmopshere (ie nudity/ frank sexual decor/ etc) offends you, your not going to really like the place.

Klub Kink -
This one seems really big into the BDSM scene - actually when I went everyone there seemed involved in D/S at some level.

Club Underground -
I have trouble getting in this club - i think they moved tho - it was all covered by a huge Cube decorated with a trees texture. Huge doesnt begin to describe the size of the place. I know one of the managers there so was mainly visiting at the time.

DFO -
This is an open air club. Again I know one of the managers. Its on a private island with stores nearbye. Its quite busy.

For some less busy clubs -

Theres this interesting Club called the Spacestaion (i think) i went there for a 4th of July party. It actually looks like a space station inside , which I thought was interesting.

I also run a club called Tiger Lily's, though we are not really "Open" (staffed) every night. Were currently moving on up again to Glow Estates island. We dfinitely wouldnt be anywhere near a "top club" but were fairly popular in the Lesbian community on Event nights.

One thing -

If you dont like clubs

you arent going to like the clubs anyone mentions.

If you dont like "SL" clubs - you arent going to like most of the Busy clubs mentioned.

The vast majority of busy clubs follow a general theme, so they are going to apeal to you.

If you do like clubs or are open minded about them , there are some interesting ones out there. And no they arent all sex clubs, or feature PR0n, etc.

Yes the busy ones have money givaways , etc. Its seen as the cost of gettign people in the door.

Also - most clubs do not make money, so remember that when looking to be critical.

Very soon the Sky Lounge in Alcona 92,66 with once a week a live DJ.
The position of the club is 250 meter high in the sky with laser and animated dancefloor.
Very new we set this up in 3 days and have today our first succesfull event.
Stay tuned we have a great event 31 july.

eh? I was just there night before last dancing and listening to DJ Humpmee(sp). I know the station is still around, and they don't always play *at* the Roadhouse, but they still do sometimes. My favorite club is Bad Girls. Because of that, I work there. This is why I love it:

*Someone alwasy speaks to you. In some other clubs, no one will speak to you unless you say something first, and others won't speak to you even then.
*Nudity is welcome. I know they're are only pixels, but I sure like looking at them.
*Sex is a popular conversation topic.
*The people there are so nice. They would do anything for me, because they care. And I would do anything for them.
*I have SO much fun there, with all of the chat and antics. I have pictures! lol
*Most people there can converse intelligently, with all of the appropriate punctuation, etc.
*It's not just about ranking. We genuinely want people to have a good time.
*No one there ever yells at the club's members in jibberish, telling everyone to support the club OR ELSE.
*The pay is fair, and what is expected of you is reasonable.
*The layout is very attractive. The club reminds me of those in the warehouse district in Austin.
*There's a nude beach, a dance club, fetish room, gentlemen's club, Tringo/Slingo, movie theater, mall, field of dreams....
*The radio station that provides music to the club is the bomb! REAL djs!!
I think I could probably go on and on..... but in the interest of my time and perhaps your sanity, I'll stop here. If you would like a tour of the club, just let me know.
