When will you announce all the rates and discounts? for those of us not sure if we can continue due to money it would be nice to know what they are in advance. If we plan to do lifetime as it is likely the most economically sensible to choose we may need to save up money for it so it would be nice to know the rate before SL goes public.
Please let us know.

one problem I have is if I saw an email with "from Tanya" on it I would have deleted it. I get junk email all the time.

lol i have to agree.. if i got an email that said from tanya.. it prolly got deleted along with any other spam that hit my junkmail account.. a lindenlab address would prolly be more helpful to residences so they don't think they are getting spammed

Whatever happened to this? Did she get her island? Is it just private (teleport only) or do I just pass by it all the time? Or was the term for owning a sim already over? (I can't remember how long they got it for but thought it was a year or at least 3 months) Hehe just curious to see what someone with a whole sim does.

She did get it, and it was only accessible by teleport. The prize was for 3 mos., so I think it may have just ended (tho haven't heard anything about it) - I seem to remember it was given out at the end of May, after E3.
I saw it a while ago and it looked pretty cool - lots of different builds like a lighthouse, ships (sea ships, not space), big house, etc.

We're almost there! We had a private preview party 2 weeks ago to find the kinks and bugs. We have been hard at work since, finishing Elysian Island, and we will open later this week. Evie will post the info to the boards as soon as the time is set.
We think your wait will have been worth it! The island is a teleport trip, and you can get info about the island at the Elysian Island Information Center (Minna 12,160). There are several pictures and an island model upstairs.
There are many things to do and explore on Elysian Island, including sailing, shopping, relaxing, exploring, etc. There are 10 venues on and around the island yet it is not crowded. The island will also be available to rent for large private parties or small romantic getaways, both discrete and secure. The island has an advanced first of its kind security system, but more on that later.
We're just a couple days away, stay tuned!!!

GRRRR The sim is still called Cayman, but we renamed the island to better reflect the heavenly surroundings. Grand opening wil be tonight!

I hope that everyone who came to the grand opening of the island last night had a great time. Everyone on the team worked very hard and it was wonderful to finally let everyone enjoy the fruits of our labors. We all greatly appreciated such a huge turnout!
