Welcome all, and have a seat, and listen to me now,
For a little story, I will weave, a tall-tale if you allow.
I offer up, now, these two lands, their lords so great and bold,
Who care not for each other, who they treated oh so cold.
LordOne did come up unto me, and my skills did want hire,
He offered gold for my good skills, and such he did acquire.
I spoke of builds I had done past, and and considered serving him,
I never saw the drama coming, and took it on a whim.
We traveled to his vast estates, and looked at the bare ground,
"Oh can you make me a good keep, to keep me safe and sound?"
"A keep you say?" I asked of him, "A keep, Fool, if you can",
"A keep it is, Oh Great LordOne, and by your great command."
And so I went and built this keep, and with haste did I work,
For a Fool is paid when a Fool is done, with not a starting perk.
I worked on into night's dark call, and worked into the day,
And where the bare earth once did sit, a keep now did hold sway.
And so a lass came unto me, and told me of a plight,
Her LordTwo was unhappy: The keep did block his sight.
I looked at it and was aware, it's size it did impose,
But honor says I build for him, whatever he had chose.
I spoke at length with this fair lass, and solution found we none,
I tried to finish my grand keep, and make it look quite fun.
I added color, for before, it was a drab unpainted thing,
But it was not enough, and soon a story, that fair lass did bring.
"Improved it is, oh fine good Fool, but still it blocks the way,
And LordOne has told LordTwo that this way it shall now stay."
I pondered this, and called for friends, to help me think this through,
But while they praised my latest build, no answers did accrue.
I put my back into the build, to finish quick and well,
This build had turned from such great fun, into a living hell.
LordTwo did cry, "I will now leave, such insult is too much!",
And offered up his lands to serfs, to make their lots less tough.
The Fool did shake his head so tired, "Is it far too much?",
"For them to stop this silliness, and have neighbors act as such?"
The build was done, and LordOne crowed, "A keep it is, indeed!",
"And now I will take it as my own, and you shall now be fee'ed".
But when he touched the handled door, the keep it did quite fade,
And I, the Fool, was sitting there, and had never been paid.
It seem the land was magic, see? The keep it did return,
To mine own pocket, brick-by-brick, and my! Did LordOne burn.
"Damn the land!" Said LordOne loud, as he did leave as well,
And now the land was bare once more, and even set to sell.
And so two lords, did fall from grace. Neither lord had won.
But as you see, I'm still here, my story is now done.
And if my build, it did offend, please try to now remember:
The prims all went their separate ways, and my build it did dismember.
