OK, I just went and checked out the SA thread regarding SL...

...and I've got to say that nothing has made me laugh that hard in a loooong time.

It's really lame that SL had to be the target of the SA Goons, and their greifing caused a lot of problems for everyone, especially the Lindens. But man...I seriously hope some of those guys stick around, because given better circumstances I can see them contributing quite a bit to SL. Some really talented folks in there...if only their talents can be harnessed for good...

I'm an SA goon and I'm here to say we aren't out to spoil peoples fun for no reason. We basically dislike people who pretend to be animals on the internet and enjoy simulating sex with animals. Aka furries.
If there's something wrong with that then I don't want to be right.

Everyone else in SL is just fine, I've met lots of nice people and played with them normally.

Also I think a lot of SL people need to chill, I saw someone sitting on an archway and a fellow SA goon knocked them off with a beachball. This person then went on a tirade of whining and reported my friend etc. Why? It's not like your character died or had any negative thing happen by falling off the arch. Just chill!

I think some of these people have never played any other real game, many of which you can lose items, experience and actually die. Compare that to falling off an arch and having no repercussions. Worth reporting someone over? No.

ummm, right. So anyone who has a non human avatar you judge to be into simulated sex with animals and therefore "deserves" to be harrassed.

a) The appearance of someones avatar does not necessarily mean they are "into" what you are suggesting.

b) even if they are....wth are you to tell people what they should or shouldn't do? Are they harming you or anybody else? Just stay away if they offend you and at least don't whine if you get banned. Deal with it.

Funny. Nobody I know who makes or wears these avs would ever dream of 'simulating sex with animals'. And judging that everyone wearing a nonhuman av here, as being someone who does so, isn't going to "become acceptable."

So, you -will- be banned if you attack people in furry avs. Even if you think you're "righteous" in doing so.

What I find amazing is that you guys can say with a straight face, "We're fine with everyone except THIS group, we're going to grief THIS group but everyone else we'll leave alone, so that's okay, and we should be unbanned."
