Actually my goal is a bit different than the first one - I want to give away $1 million.

Drive someone out of SL? - I dont think I've done this. I dont plan to do this. If I did do it it was an accident.

The last question was just a stupid side note for some stuff I've been seeing lately in SL.
As for me, I have no goal, just wondering if anyone else has one.

I would like to have fun, be happy, and enjoy some peace and quiet. Sadly there's always someone who comes along and ruins that. I might have to buy a whole sim eventually in order to achieve that goal.

This was interesting to think about. I want to build and spend time with the friends I've made here. That's it. And those things are not goals -- they're just things I enjoy doing. Soooo... I'm afraid I have no goals.

If I could spend 2 weeks building furniture all day and taking breaks to talk with and visit friends, that would be SL heaven to me.

Mine is to see if I can fit more copies on my building of the same 2 story tall picture of Pamela Anderson than Club Elite has on theirs. (I don't think it is possible, but I will try to top the 1000 (ok, maybe 20) they have now)

My goal in SL has always been to be recognised for something in some way. Yeah... it's kinda selfish, but I never feel important in RL, and I just wait for the day that I'm widely recognised for doing something cool or unique.

I also wait for the day that I'll meet someone IW and they'll have heard of me from somewhere outside SL. THAT would be awesome.

Oh that's an easy one:

To escape.

I spend a good 80% of my waking hours documenting destruction.. Be it of families, lives, properties, economies, even countries. Most of the time I'm not affored the detatchment of viewing scenes sent from far away, rather I'm there on the scene 'up close and personal' so to speak.

SL is the antithesis of this for me - it's about creation.

My goal is simply to shelve the ugliness of the real world for a few hours, by involving myself in the beauty of a virtual one.

Reaching the top 10 in the leader board? Knowing most of the people who get there, none of them enjoy it, so definitely not.

Drive someone out of SL? Yeah, I did this already to one guy. He came in and said he hated it, so I told him "Give it time." and he goes "Hell no!" so I said "Well then, give me all the money you have and quit." which he then proceeded to do.

Of course, this guy mentioned he hated the guts out of "There" sooo wasn't much expectation he'd like Second Life either.

My one and only main goal of Second Life is to earn a career working for Philip Rosedale. I swear to God, every story I hear about what goes on in that San Fransisco office makes me dream of the day I can sit down in one of those seats and work on what I consider the greatest creation ever to bless my PC.

SL.....I want to somehow do something that effects something No really I want to make SL a prettier place.

Owning my own sim would be damn cool though I dont know what I would do with it.

I guess I would have to say my main goal in SL as in FL is to help people realize that life is more about what they already have, not about setting goals and striving for more, so that they may discover their hidden inspirations and find their passions and inner creativity.

If that doesn't work, then I just want to laugh alot.

I dont entirely care how it comes to that, except for it being Notorious fame, I dont want to be known for doing something stupid or being evil.

My goal in SL is much like Siggys - escapeism. Which is to say, there is alot in my first life that I would rather forget about outside of working hours, and a few hours in SL hanging out with cool people and building groovy things makes the next day easier to face

I'm not interested in making loads of money... just enough to cover my builds and tax does me fine.

Leaderboards... nah, means little to me personally. I rarely play games for the score - it's about the experience for me.

It would be nice to be mentioned in new-world notes... I'll hafta invite Hamlet over sometime...

I'd never drive someone out of SL. That would be like kicking someone out of nirvana (the state of being, not the band)!

I don't think I really have a goal for SL. I use it as an escape - where else can I have multicolored skin or some wacky av costume? hmm, could be a team mascot.

I do want to create awesome structures but I don't want to make it a goal. I feel like it might detract from the fun I'm having on SL by limiting my focus.
