1) An ant will fall only on its right side when drunk (According to a US funded experiment) 2) Spider silk (webbings) woven into a vest can eflect bullets and weights significantly less then any bullet proof armor (recenly after 20+ years they have made a synthetic) 3) In Wilmington, Delaware it is illegal to walk your Komodo Dragon down the sidewalks on sunday on a leash. (never mind they are illegal) 4) In Minnesota it is illegal for a man to "be" with a fish. (Ok for women though) 5) Delaware still has bluebook witch laws in effect. (three or four years ago a person was tried for that and the law has been brought up to be removed multiple times in the past never to be removed.) 6) A rhino is able to reporduce with a human. (not sure of the extent but suppossedly they can impregnant)

From: Page Raven Has anyone drank out of Nelgeine (spelling) bottles? A rumor says that they cause cancer, because the plastic erodes away and gets mixed in with your water or whatever you keep in there. Im not sure its true.. Naglene bottles are a very tough and relatively non-porous plastic used in hiking bottles. I doubt very much that the plastic does anything, much less causes cancer. It is remarkably free of plasticizers, which are used for flexibility and typically considered to the be the number one health risk of plastics.

Well from my understanding the discussion didn't get far into this for obvious reasons but it seems there is enough of a smiliarity to make it noteable. Again just how far someone would carry to term, etc none of us wanted to know.

One can get cancer from canned watter, but from bottled water one can only get bottlecer.

http://mann.broccoli.com/farm/hist_origin.htm From: someone Broccoli has been around for more than 2000 years, although Americans have grown it in their gardens for only 200 years! WOW! During the sixteenth century, the plant was grown in France and Italy. Little was known about this vegetable until the 1920’s, when the first commercially grown broccoli was grown and harvested in Brooklyn, New York. In 1923, the D’Arrigo Brothers Company made a trial planting of Italian sprouting broccoli in California. A few crates were sent to Boston and by 1925 the broccoli market was established. The word broccoli comes from the Italian brocco meaning arm branch. Broccoli is a member of the Cruciferae family which means it’s related to cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, etc. The word broccolo is the diminutive form of brocco and refers to cabbage sprout, while broccoli is plural and refers to the numerous shoots in the form of Brassica Oleracea. There are two types of broccoli: sprouting/Italian broccoli (Brassica Oleracea Italica) the most common, and heading broccoli (Brassica Oleracea) which looks like cauliflower.

One click of a mouse burns 0.0000024kcals of energy, so if you eat a chocolate bar you'll need to click your mouse 765,551,000 times to burn it off.
see THATS how I get my sore wrist... CLICKING I tell you CLICKING...

Random Animal Facts...
Cats:
Domestic cats purr at about 26 cycles per second, the same frequency as an idling diesel engine. A domestic cat hears frequencies up to about 65 kHz, humans up to 20 kHz. Its sense of smell is about 14 times stronger than that of humans.
Sir Isaac Newton, discoverer of the principles of gravity, also invented the cat door.
Cats can see in color though they are partially color blind. They have the equivalency of human red/green color blindness. (Reds appear green and greens appear red; or shades thereof.) A cat's ear pivots 180 degrees. They have 30 muscles in each ear, and use twelve or more muscles to control their ear movement.
Your cat is probably either a "righty" or a "lefty." Only 40% of cats are ambidextrous while another 40% are either right-pawed or left-pawed.
This one is kind of cool... Bees:
Tiny radio plates the size of a rice grain will be attached to honey bees to detect antipersonnel landmines, of which there are about 100 million in 70 war-torn countries.
The tiny radio plates are engraved with serial numbers to keep track of the bees, which are being conditioned to develop a preference in addition to nectar, in this case TNT, or any other material that releases metamphenamine. Special spectrometers that can "smell" TNT are placed in movable beehives to indicate landmines in specific areas. Bees that "smell" of explosives can then be tracked to the landmine. The bees won't detonate the landmines.
Hippos:
Hippos have killed more people than any other animal. Being fearlessly protective of their turf and young, hippos have killed more than 400 people in Africa.
Frogs:
Frogs are found on all continents except Antarctica
There are close to 4,000 known species of frogs, including toads. They range in size from less than half an inch to nearly a foot long and come in a rainbow of colors and patterns.
