You Know You've Been Playing a Lot of Second Life When...

You're stuck in traffic and try to hit the "F" button.

Guests are coming over for dinner, and you try to stretch the dining room table.

You get angry with the mailman because he didn't click on your voting station.

When you look at a building and say, "I wonder where they got that texture from?" or "I wonder how many prims it took to make that..."

you open your checkbook, choke when you see the negative balance, and wonder when your next stipend will arrive.

Well, I've sort of thought that before -- sometimes, I try to see how many prims I can reduce something down into, as a sketching exercise

when your toddler repeats "bye bye" so many times you start to wonder how bad the packet loss is...

You stay underwater for 30 minutes.

( for noobs, in sl you cant drown, trust me, i have a house underwater )

You have to rush home from your favorite store to teach a class.

You apologize for RL interfering with your Second Life.

You Keep telling some one your on your way and realize you cant just teleport there.

You type /Hey on intra company IM when you try to get ahold of a friend.

...When you look into a dog's eyes and think that they look sorta like Hamlet Linden's

...When you are driving and insetad of looking in your rear view mirror, you try to alt + click to look behind you.

...When you are watching a movie and in every outdoor scene, you could SWEAR you saw a vote station.

you place a box of macaroni or can of peas in the air and wonder why it crashes to the ground.

you go over to your friend's house and wonder why there's no trivia contest for cash prizes going on.

when you berate someone and you look to see if money is gone out of your wallet....LOL

When talking to friends on the street you type on an invisable keyboard in front of you.

why your friends and wife think you are nuts for turning an invatation down to go some where you always wanted so you can teach a class on a computer to people you have never met, how to do something in a game .( brings on a lot of gasp when you say you cant because you got to teach and everyone wants to come to your class ,till they find out its on in a computer game)

When you want to alter your appearance and your legs don't get longer.

When you catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror and don't remember right away who that person is.

or

When avatars start showing up in some of your better dreams

When you decide to change AV's and suddenly find yourself naked on a street corner...again.....

When you go to leave your friends 3rd story aprtment and jump off the balcony to fly home.

Not to get off the subject, but why are so many making cars when we can fly? Strapping on the jetpack is better.

When after talking to friends you want to check to see if you have postively rated them.

When you study the motion of a RL door to see how it works.

When you start putting 'll' in front of all of your functions in whatever language you are coding in.

When you try practicing the floating yoga and keep ending up on the floor with a sore behind.

When you touch your bracelet and it doesn't create a shield around someone you don't like.

When your Kick-all tiki doesn't get rid of pesky neighbors on your property.

When you start flipping through the phone book looking for a linden in your area.

When you are making something in your home and you're paranoid to reposition it because it might end up at the edge of the city.

When you wake up and expect to see who's online in the left hand corner of your vision.
