I still haven't found my true self so I don't have anything to bring me back to me.

Sitting down with a pencil and my sketchbook always brings me back around. I love the challenge of trying to make something interesting out of nothing. No matter how much technology I involve in the creative process, the feeling of a pencil in my hand and the paper underneath it reminds me that I carry creativity with me everywhere I go, that its not something I find at the end of a mouse cord, or hidden behind an icon on my desktop, even if thats where I most commonly express it PS- Aurelie, it will. It may take a good amount of time, but it does fade. *hugs!*

Writing. Making collages. Reading Charles Bukowski. Watching South Park. Listening to Tom Waits.

Writing for fun -- the experience of watching characters come to life under the blinking cursor or the pen tip. Even if it's only to hijack the story and run away with it.

"Soaking the sun into my bones." *giggle* around here you better soak it up while the soakin's good. We've had almost a week without rain now? I'm pretty sure thats a sign of impending apocolypse that did remind me though, being in a warm and cozy room looking out a window into a cold and wet world does it for me too

that did remind me though, being in a warm and cozy room looking out a window into a cold and wet world does it for me too Nooo kidding! I've been sneaking outside and soaking for all I'm worth. Hopefully I can say that too once I move out of the basement (My current apt is a converted basement, so no real windows to speak of)... addendum: things that bring me back to my true self: - Eating a good dessert!
