I threw all the footage I was taking together into a 2 minute video. Peter, Paul & Mary fans will enjoy :)

An instant classic! Awesome job, Jack. The Lindens should consider it for promotional material.

Great movie Jack - some great scenes in there!

It took me absolutely AGES to get it to download, and then I realised I had at some point blocked fileplanet from leaving cookies! doh!

I'm going to have to work on one myself now! Ty for the inspiration mate!

Wouldn't the song count as copyrighted content though? Can we use full length songs in the Film Festival?

Very fun video indeed. Its cool to see so many people I know in it. I have to laugh everytime I see pixel chasing me around in the second scene.

Finally got around to downloading the movie (Darwin, thanks for the hint about the codec!) -- and it's an absolute blast. Was sitting here chortling to myself as I watched it several times (and playing Name That AV/Event/Place) :D

I really liked the effects, especially the "grainy" effect during the Kazenojin airshow segments, very appropriate! I'm curious now though -- what *was* that scene with all the AVs chasing each other (and a flaming Loki)? *hee* (folks, this was not the only fun part -- go watch it if you haven't already, but it's 41MB so make sure you have plenty of bandwidth)

You've got a good eye. Kudos for making such an awesome video, Jack!

Yes Nergal, I was on fire in part of that scene, thanks to "Fuego!". We were all running around in a circle due to a bug. Valfaroth discovered this bug on his land while making a lighthouse and called a bunch of us to come see it. Anyone that got close to the area got sucked into running around in a circle! It was a blast while it lasted.

Oh, that is SO much fun! Thanks, Jack, for making my day. Ooooo, Pixel and I are movie stars now!... I think he wants top billing.

Cool video. The scenes of people running around reminded me of Benny Hill. :)

Other films...

Occasionally, I see some random acts of weirdness that form into internet memes, if only for a few days.

Here's an odd one:
http://69.49.199.91/best_of.asp

Apparently, stealth disco is the act of sneaking up behind an unsuspecting employee and dancing like a monkey while being filmed.

Anyone care to try this in SL and make some movies? Probably a lot easier to do it here, and you don't have to have your real-life avatar available for public scrutiny.
