I've been hearing a lot of complaints from fellow builders about not being able to keep up with the new sculpties technology, so I decided to create several "starter" sculpties in basic shapes.

You can find the starter sculpties in the Tree of Second Life shop in Cybertopia, 230,24,24:

These sculpties are super inexpensive (only 15L per shape) with modify and copy permissions so even builders without experience using other 3D programs could have a chance to play with sculpties!

So far, the starter sculpties include these basic shapes (check out the attached images):

~boxes with rounded corners (come on, which builder hasn't been dying one of these since the day they started SL?)

~bowl with smooth edges (which looks a lot better than hollowing out a half-sphere)

~cylinder with smooth edges

~squiggle S shaple (much more convenient than linking torii)

~teardrops

~a couple of Roman column segments (I added the "siding" bumpmap to the columns in the picture to create a more realistic illusion)

Send me an IM and let me know what sculptie shapes you want!

I've uploaded a few pictures of a gingerbread house I made using all the basic sculptie shapes. As it turned out, the bowls are great for gumdrops and the Roman column segments flatten to a nice cookie shape :-) Check it out on the "Show us your sculpties" thread here:
