If Christianity is correct (Which I have made quite clear that I believe it is) then if you die and you are a Christian you get to go to Heaven and meet exciting people, like Teddy Roosevelt and Jesus! If you are not a Christian you go to hell which sucks. Now lets flip it around and just for kicks say that Christianity is wrong. Ok so then no matter what you do in life, when you die thats it. So lets recap. If you are a Christian than the worst that can happen to you when you die is nothing. So care to wager? We want to practice our faith as we see fit, without the threat of a few atheist activists insisting what we can do personally on public land or government interference. An example is the Atheist dad who sued to stop personal prayers at graduation. These are not state sponsored prayers. Who was being harmed by these personal prayers? Well a Jewish familly asked that christians stop to enforce prayer to Jesus on there kids and had to leave the town to avoid physical harm. Your take on that? Oh, they where ok with prayers to god in general. |

prayer is something personal and should be kept personal. Although I am religious, I dont like it when there are public prayers being said, it actually makes me uncomfortable. Although saying that if I attend a ceremony thats held by another religion I will join in with their prayers and treat it as a culture experience. I think people should be entitiled to pray in their own way. One thing I want to ask all athiests here is, have you all studied religion? what religions have you investigated? What made you decide to become athiest?
