Why are the forums so boring I had to drudge up a bunch of old favorites to entertain myself. Remeber the good ole days when there was lots of licking... pouncing... and cheese/pie debates?

It's up to y'all to keep me amused. What's wrong with you peeps???

Some Willow or Trin lust, a little Eggy brain, some darwin wisdom and a good Kris slap every now and again.

And what the hell happened to the siggy injections?

and the Merwan shines?

Once in awhile Ulrika stirs the pot and Cris, Chip, Taco or Leck weigh in with some wisdom or another but for the most part...

things have been slow or they have gotten so mean that they have been painful to read.

You're only saying that to distract attention from the shortcomings of your party. :)

There is no cheese/pie debate. Cheese is awesome and while pie is definitely tasty, there is no comparison.

I'm right and if you disagree with me... well... you're stupid.

A good apple pie crust > cheese.

Don't get me started on Pecan pie. Pecans are gross on their own, why would you want to put them in a pie? You can't just add sugar to bad tasting things and make them awesome... people like apples and cherries even without extra sugar, so when you put them in a pie they taste even better.

Cheese is still better than pie anyway, get a nice Brie and some good crackers... or make a fondue out of Emmentauler and Gruyere... great stuff. Hell, even a grilled cheese sandwich made from colby jack and cheddar is better. Don't use american though, that barely qualifies as food much less cheese.

Pecans are good. I can tell you're not from the south (or if you are, you're an import in disguise). Plus, non-southerners don't know portion sizes. When I want a piece of pie, that means a healthy slab- not a friggin pie shard in the center of a giant plate drizzled with caramel and powdered sugar!

Politics.

Actually there used to be ALOT more politics than there is now. Anyone remember the last Presidential Election? Tons more.

Those were some fun arguing times on all message boards. It was so great when Bush won and all of the hippies started moaning and crying.

I am thinking what the SL Forums felt like (which may be different from what they actually were) in January of 2005 for me. There are some regular posters I miss, for sure. Lots of new faces but a lot of things I'm still looking for. And on it goes...

Costco makes the best apple pies... they are gigantic (which should be a given... it's costco) and covered in brown sugar/caramel topping. I haven't found an equally good cherry pie yet, but i'm on the lookout.

You Americans and your sweet pie fetish. Don't you realise that there's a whole world out there of savoury pies - many of which might include cheese?

dangit Chance, I live too far away from the South to go get me some pecan pie... and they don't make it right in Oregon. :(

I'll call my daddy and tell him to send me one :p
