Well, we would have easter, but it would be all pagany and stuff. And spelled with an O.  correcting misspelling  with an "o"? We'd celebrate "oyster" _____________________

I thought the misspelling was cute.
Anyway about Easter, it was once, I think, Oster or something like that, named after an ancient fertility goddess. According to aristotle.netEaster got its name from Ostara, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of fertility and rebirth. European tribes celebrated the beginning of spring at the vernal equinox, when day and night are equal in length, by blessing seeds for growth and placing colored eggs on an altar. They believed that this ceremony would bring them fertility for the upcoming year. Christian missionaries noticed that this pagan celebration took place around the time of the resurrection of Christ, so they adopted Easter as a Christian holiday to increase conversions to Christianity. _____________________

Does that mean it's OK to eat it? Well, according to the Catholic church, every marital act must end with a life giving event....which means the sperm must be deposited where they can unite with a potential eggy, so, I guess, you, Eggy, could eat it if you are so inclined. _____________________
