I got 8/10. I actually recognized "Son of Sam" from news stories I've seen about him. I'm surprised they used such a well-known (at least in the US) serial killer.

I thought they all looked like serial killers, so I failed. That was really my problem. And I think I'm right, too. Those coders just haven't been caught yet.
