This occurred about 20 minutes from where I live...
A Philadelphia man is recovering from an attack, allegedly at the hands of his wife. The assault on his private parts has become public knowledge. In an interview with Action News after his release from, the 52-year-old victim spoke of his terrifying ordeal.
The 52-year-old Tioga-Nicetown man, who we are identifying only by his first name of Howard, arrived home late Wednesday, hours after his wife allegedly tore off two parts of his genitalia with her bare hands. Surgeons at Einstein successfully managed to repair the damage.

She should be prosecuted.
He should get spousal abuse counseling, he is absolutely the typical abused spouse and as the article mentioned, it has happened to him more than once (the abuse, just not to this extreme, but things tend to escalate over time). Guys - take husband abuse seriously, don't put up with a woman beating on you. (Don't beat back either, that's a place you never want to go). Get out - get help. I have a good friend who's wife nearly killed him, she beat him in the side of the head with a phone and kicked him in the ribs and because he is a big guy he could not defend himself for fear of being arrested for "spousal abuse". He finally got away from this she-devil but it took some counseling because he thought he loved her and did not see that he was being abused on a daily basis. Just say no to psycho.  . _____________________

Kind of makes Lorena Bobbit seem humane.

On the night of June 23, 1993, Bobbitt cut off her husband's penis with a kitchen knife as he lay sleeping in their Manassas, Virginia, home. She then drove off with the severed appendage and flung it out her car window. Police performed a diligent search and located it, and it was then surgically reattached. In statements to police, she explained that she had cut off the penis because her husband was "selfish" and "wouldn't give her an orgasm." ok.... maybe not, but thankfully for the guys, there looks to be at least a decade between penile mutilations. So all the guys can sleep soundly in the company of their psycho significant others for at least the next 8 years, although wearing some sort of protective gear to bed might be a good idea. _____________________

Sorry, this isn't prims here... I'd be most worried about his vision, because after pain like that I'd be seeing black for the rest of my life! HOW do you successfully repair that kind of damage? It's very, very vascular tissue, so almost immediately upon reattachment blood vessels will be growing like crazy trying to interpenetrate their old haunts. Probably some nasty scarring, but let's face it, the organ isn't exactly the nicest thing to look at intact (or so I've heard). The psychological trauma of having this done, though, must be immense. She should be prosecuted. With Lynne Abraham as our DA, I can almost guarantee she will be. |

she's mentally unwell, and i agree spouse abuse is always a serious matter. poor guy
nevertheless, i can't help it.. my first thought was man, that's seriously pissed off. i can appreciate the seriousness of an awful situation and still understand that humor is how humans deal with terrible things sometimes. runs in my family. when my brother died we made awful jokes, but he would have been amused. |
