Kind of a newb here, but can someone explain the preggy thing to me.

Well, you see, Aslana, when a mommy avatar and a daddy avatar love each other very much, they go out and buy poseballs. The daddy avatar sits on the blue poseball, and the mommy avatar sits on the pink poseball. (But only in an M-rated sim.)

Then the mommy avatar edits her appearance/shape/body/belly size slider gradually over the next 67.5 days.

And that's how the preggy thing happens.

I dont get it either.. exept one lady I ran into was Pregnant in RL.. so made her avie pregnant too.. thats kinda cute I guess

* The user is really pregnant, as Richie mentioned?
* They are roleplaying their avatar being pregnant?
* They find it attractive or interesting, same as 99% of the other things people do with their avatars?
* They just felt like it?

Hiya if u type in find...babies, there is a place called Natural Family Choice
they have babies u can buy (objects) also adoption options, they also have a pregnancy stage where they do all the work and u customize ur baby and some helpful information

I always just assumed that girls running around 'Prego" in SL, were 18-19 year old girls roleplaying what it'll be like to someday be 'mommy'.

Or maybe some guys with a really hardcore fetish.

I dunno - out of the loop on this one.

I was curious as to how the preggy thing worked in SL because I think its an interesting idea. I was being serious and thanks for trying to make it look like I wasn't.

Aslana, the original question was just a little on the vague side. There have also been many, many threads where people ask about why people enjoy DS, or being furry, or just about anything else, rather than asking how to go about it.

Not knowing what you were asking specifically, many of us forum regulars (myself included), would have answered with a bit of a joke - the humour we inject every now and then is sometimes the only thing that stops the forum drama hitting critical mass.

Dyne just got in ahead of someone else. I really don't think any offense was meant (in fact mentioning flying off into unrezzed buildings almost guarantees humour). Personally, I enjoyed the smile it brought to day.

Oh - and congrats on your engagement

As for the how...

Just start pulling out the Torso sliders in your av Appearance mode. Pretty soon everything will be rounder and saggier than your wildest dreams.

I thought about making my avie pregnant, as my RL one progresses. But I am not going to buy an actual prim baby to haul around with me.
