Good morning!

I sent her the e-mail (Not Zapotheth's version, I'm saving that one for extreme situations) and I got no reply. However, the desk was spotless this morning and everything was in order. There's even a little calendar thingey in the middle of the desk with the following message in Spanish: "Your sins will follow you like a shadow". It's a tad longer than that but you get the idea

So now I know I'm going to hell with a clean desk I guess LOL

That's great that the desk was clean today. I think you were wise to send the carefully worded email. That is a rather strange quotation to leave for you to see, though. Have you perhaps done something, er, notorious, or somehow irritated this woman (previous to yesterday's email, I mean)?

Not at all, she comes in every day as I'm leaving so our relationship is purely *hey, how's it going?* *pretty good, yourself?* *great, great... see ya tomorrow* more or less and away I go

We've never really worked together, just share a desk. So hopefully she's not too fanatical about this *sin* thing LOL

I could say something mature and insightful here but it just has not been that kind of day.

Leave a mousetrap in the middle of the desk and clean up the desk to a ridiculous extent. Do not offer an explanation.

I'd simply leave a little [live] mouse for her - in one of her half-empty food containers. (they can be picked up in any pet store and are sold as food for snakes)

Works wonders.

Good start. Hope she keeps it up.

Let me say that I don't wanna hear "it's who they are" anymore. Doesn't anyone put on a decent facade anymore? Be who you are on your own time. Be who you're supposed to be at work while your at work. Nobody is asking her to change her sexual orientation or anything drastic, just throw the damn trash out. People do change. You've never seen someone have problems with public speaking learn to do it better through things such as practice and instruction? I'm sure with a little effort the woman can throw the f'in trash out.

Can't win everything.

But I'm glad your mess situation has improved. Don't mind her 'quote of the day' thing. She's either really baiting you for another argument, or that could have just been left there accidentally (It can happen).

If you can, you might want to thank her for the effort by leaving a small note with a small chocolate bar or her favorite gum. It does pay to reach out to people and be friendly. Who knows she could turn into a friend.

I agree. Personally, I am sick of everybody making excuses for everything *oh I'm that way because my parents/teachers/friends/the easter bunny didn't do this or that for me* and I think it's bullcrap. If you're over 25, it's about time you got your act together and took responsibility for your life and your actions instead of blaming everybody and their grandma for your sucky life. I am tired of people being rude over the phone and in person, having no common sense, being dirty and stupid in general because *that's the way they are*... it makes me want to buy a machine gun and shoot them because, well... that's the way I am

Hell sounds like fun, so I'll be sure to look you up!
