I will probably leave things out because I don't know the English words for it, but here it goes : bananas / apples / 1 kilo beef ( for the Dutchies among us : draadjesvlees ) / seasoning for the beef / onions / 4 liters of milk ( semi )/ 3 liters 7-up light / 3 liters Punica ( fruitjuice with extra vitamins ) / brussels sprouts / mashed potatoes / detergent / handsoap / coffee beans / coffee milk / sugar cubes / little white rolls / loaf of bread white / loaf of bread wheat / eggs / ham / cheese / ingredients for fresh tomato soup / some vegetable of which I can't remember the word... prei in Dutch ( leeks ? ) / spring water etc. etc., in short : a fairly normal grocery list for a family of 4 with 2 teens _____________________

Smart Water (I drink a liter then re-fill the bottles with tap water and keep in the fridge) Corn tortillas Peach/watermelon salsa Frozen blueberries (an obsession of mine--when I was pregnant with my son, I could eat a pound in two days) Tofu (for pad Thai) Mung bean sprouts Pepper Jack cheese (I would kill for European cheese or butter--there is nothing like it in the states) Milk (organic, ultra-pasturized, hormone-free--lasts for weeks and weeks, if necessary) 1/2 & 1/2 Whole coffee beans Flour (I make my own bread) Yeast (I cheat and use Rapid-Rise) Peanuts Cashews Onions Okra 1 can Pearl Tea (an indulgence) 2 bottles Blenheims (another indulgence) Ice cream (son will only eat mint chocolate chip) Bananas Little carrots (kids love em. Montessori schools approve.) Diet Coke (I know, I know, rotten insides, bad for you--but I have cut down. Really) Frozen ravioli (until I learn how to make pasta--I gotta go with store-brand) That'll do me. _____________________
