Definitely not. Taxes will always remain progressive in the blue states -- significantly more so one would hope.

It would work out better for the blue states who overall pay more in taxes than they receive.

I always find it funny that these selfish Republican welfare states actually receive more at the federal trough than they put in.

I recently saw a compilation of polling data from Survey USA that shows Bush's approval rating, as of November of this year, is now under 45% in something like 43 states, including Texas, which is a surprise. It seems the only states that can consider them "Red States" is Idaho and Utah, while Wyoming, Mississpi, Nebraska, Alabama, and Oklahoma are purplish.

American politics is entirely corrupt on both sides. Voting with the exception of small local votes is a joke. Presidents are all pre-determined and votes don't mean anything. Most people have that shit figued out by the time they learn the constitution in 8th grade.
