Do you have a phobia? I have two I can think of right offhand. Fear of heights. Sucks. I hate that I have it. I even get it watching other people go near the edge of high buildings or rocks, etc. I have forced myself to "overcome" it, sort of to prove I can do it. Climbed Devil's Tower in Wyoming, mountains in several westen states, and several smaller climbs in other places. I still HATE it though, it is not fun, even though I pretended I was having fun. The other is riding in cars with people behind the wheel who are late brakers. Just stresses the hell out of me. Possibly due to the fact that I was critically injured in a auto wreck in 1988, because I really started to notice this fear after that. My hand is practically glued to that strap on the door or glove box when riding with Last Second Charlies. Your turn.

Pretty standard here....
Spiders - not a phobia in the sense of cringing fear, but I won't stand for them. They give me the creeps. We are at war and it seems like they know it too. Ever had a 2 inch long spider descend from the roof of your car and deposit itself on your face while you were driving? Not pleasant.
Speaking of driving, I also can't be in a car that anyone else is driving. I become like a mental patient...clawing at the walls, gibbering, itching, etc
Anyone have any interesting phobias like fear of toast or something?

I'm afraid to leave my fingerprints on sharp objects or doorknobs in strangers' houses.
Seriously.
I compulsively wipe them off of these objects in case they get murdered so that I won't be a suspect.

This is silly, but:
I'm afraid to jump into pools.
To me... jumping into a pool that is 10-feet deep is just like jumping down 10-feet from a structure onto the ground.
And I mean, any sort of jumping into pools. A diving board only complicates matters, because then I take into account the depth of the pool + the height of the board.
LOL.

I'm afraid of [redacted]. I think that [redacted] has really made me take a giant step backwards in trusting people; I feel used and like a stepping stone to success. I'm also, no shit, afraid of, no, actually that's it. I've said my peace.

I really hate walking across bridges... Oh, and I don't like sleeping in a room with the curtains/blinds open either, I'm afraid somebody or something will look in on me! Also, yes, one more thing and it will be all mushy, I'm afraid of losing the man I love.

Heights is the major one. And anything to do with eyeballs or fingernails/toenails. I had to take a friend to the ER once because she ripped her big toenail allll the way back - I couldn't even look at it.

Second Life.
Wait... ARGGHHH *runs screaming*
No, in all seriousness, I am not a big fan of heights, and or anything to do with eyeballs or nails like Cory, really not a huge fan of cobwebs either :/

I don't like insects. Spiders and caterpillars extremely so! But insects in general make me squirm and go batshit crazy. There was once a cockroach flying around the room and I was screaming my head off. And the time I saw this fuzzy, speckled caterpillar crawling up my arm. x_x *shudders* hate hate absolutely HATE them.

I'm scared of lag. The entire world slows down, and I feel like I can't escape. Aaaugh. Gives me the willies just thinking about it.
Also, particle effects. They're just not natural. Gimme nice, solid prims (or even floppy new prims) every day.

I won't swim in the ocean, I am deathly afraid of sharks. I used to think that was an irrational fear, but then, we had the summer of shark attacks here in FL and my phobia totally increased in intensity. I even scare myself in the swimming pool! And if anyone starts humming that friggin' soundtrack from "Jaws", I get out of the pool!

Actually, a phobia is an irrational fear, many of those listed here by people have a rational basis.

Anything to do with eyes all thanks to that jackass deputy who came to our school and told us about someone strung out on angel dust (or some other drug) who had already pried out one eye and was working on the other one with a fork Oh.. and I really don't like long q-tips either.... at the doctor's office to get throat cultures for strep - get your mind out of the gutter
