If something makes sense,it makes sense - if something is boneheaded, it's boneheaded.
Not even considering a thing due to a party affiliation would be stupid, every issue needs to be looked at and at least given consideration on it's own merit. Although there is a lot of (in my opininon) boneheaded pandering seen in the media (sensationalism puts bums on chairs), there are a lot of instances of less 'newsworthy' issues being forward by both sides, sometimes (gasp!) working together. Cases where both sides of the fence come together to try and get something accomplished for their constituents - The Yucca Mountain issue in Nevada is one such instance. _____________________

Well, looks like I may be pointing to this poll the next time someone in the forums says that "a majority of America agrees" to some b.s. partisan view.
Left-wing 8 20.51% Right-wing 5 12.82% Somewhere in the middle 14 35.90% Somewhere off the charts 12 30.77% Lookie here, 2/3 of people aren't left or right wing! _____________________
