From: Adam Zaius Nah, Firefox is the bastard child of the Mozilla project. It 'forked' and parted with the main Mozilla project's codebase a while back. Since that time, they have seperated enough that they are effectively two different browsers.
IMO, Firefox is rubbish compared to say Mozilla 1.8 - but all the advertising is going towards firefox; so the main Mozilla branch is pretty much doomed. RUR RUR RUR What a great description, "bastard child". That's pretty evocative, Adam! |

I'm finally updated to Firefox 1.5, but the reason I tend to hold off on updating (unless there's something critical) is that my favorite extentions aren't always updated for the new version when I update - like click and drag a link to open it in a new tab, my god that's my favorite, and last I checked they still didn't have that updated for 1.5. Or if they do, its under a different name or something. Grawr.
