From the Washington Post, 11-4-05:
From: someone
In a surprise statement that shocked the world, U.S. President George W. Bush announced he has abandoned belief in God and ordered the immediate withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq. When questioned as to what motivated these dramatic changes, President Bush replied, "Well, it was something I read in the Second Life forums while I was supposed to be working."

Oh Good grief. Has Ulrika gifted you another of these dreadful self-adulatory quote-sigs that appear so often nowadays, Suezanne?
Might I suggest a little self-restraint ? What would that be called ?

No, it was an insult, I cut out part of it to make it look like a highly improbable compliment.

I suppose I could exercise restraint in the forums, there's a first time for everything, so they say.

Nah.

After all, I trained myself to spell Cristiano's name so well that I can't even type the "H" in Christian properly anymore.
The Second Life atheisation campaign proceeds along its devious, multi-branched path.

SL atheist proselytizer recants!

Asked to express her view on who created the universe , a prominent SL former atheist replied in a cheery tone:

Quote: God...! :D ~Ulrika~

Win some, lose some.

Bush isn't spiritual to begin with, he just uses the Christian sheep who are fueled by hatred for gays etc to turn out and vote for the issues his evil lizard-man henchmen tell them to because as a group (maybe 4-10 million) they have clout.

He and his team of fascists (that means, litterally, corporate rule of the country) panders to the religious right but anyone but those same people can see that he is hardly a spiritual man. He doesn't go to church (ooh didn't hear that one before? go check) or read (and is so smug about his ignorance) or seem to have any curiosity, he simple does what he is told and then trys to cram as much personal enjoyment into his day. He is probably still a drinker and the whole religious conversion just a ruse to get those sheep to vote for whatever is necessary.

If George W Bush were on these forums, I do believe we would recognise him by virtue of his grammar, spelling and cadence.

Unless he was too lazy to type it all in, and just sat back while someone did all the thinking and writing for him.

Now if you would all excuse me, I'm going to go for a bag of pretzels.

And God spoke to Ulrika, saying "Am I the ruler of the land and the firmament? Do you worship my awesome majesty?" And Ulrika replied:
From: someone
You are the master .... I bow to you.

I don't think Bush's book list extends much beyond My Pet Goat.

I knew this had to be a joke because we all know Brother Bush is doing his damnedest to get the ball rolling on armagedon and the rapture so he and his fundamantalist supporters can get to heaven that much sooner. Spend the wealth of the nation on fruitless wars 'cuz the end is nieh, brother! $60 for a tank of gas is one of the first signs of the end. Repent!

Kathmandu, if you're having difficulty spelling Armaggeddon, how in the heck do you think Bush could be involved in anything that complicated?

I am not into the restraint stuff, I hope you are not suggesting anything related to spreader bars.
