Hang on Sean thats unfair, he has offered you his real name and with that I am sure comes his qualifications. You cant criticise him until he is unable to come up with them. I think some of you are being a little unfair. Hes explaining himself reasonably and you are all attacking him. why not ask him for his credentials and see where hes going with his idea. Personally I think its a good one, I use councelling in my rl job and know that people would be more comfortable with doing it online, its personal preference. Eros I would recommend you put something in your Ad that it shouldnt replace face to face RL therapy.

From: Eros Shore Burnman, I don’t think you are attempting to be reasonable. If your going to comment please try to remain objective as personal insults are not productive. I’m legitimately trying to help people and in the process collecting research data. I am happy to discuss with you any further questions you may have. Actually... I wasn't attempting to attack you, but rather poke fun. As for helping people while attempting to collect research data... which is it? Are you charging for mental healthcare, or are you collecting research data? It seems odd to blend the two, it sort of skews the results a bit. Usually, research subjects are paid for their participation, not the other way around. In addition, are you licensed? What state are you licensed in? Are you licensed in all states you will be offering care to? Are you billing practices in accordance with state and federal regulations? Can you guarantee HIPPA compliance? Are are you Lucy with a can full of nickles. Oh how I love that sound... *shaking can while Charlie Brown looks on with baffled eyes*...

You don't really mean to suggest that disagreeing is attacking, do you? When I open up the Yellow Pages and search for psychologists, I get a list of names of therapists. With that, I can look up their credentials through the state. If Eros wants to be on the up-and-up, maybe he should offer his name up-front, just as every other therapist does, instead of making his identity available by request only.
