IMHO I don't think it will matter much either way. One of the best metal vocalists of all time (Rob Halford of Judas Priest) is gay, and it hasn't affected their or his popularity amongst straight metal lovers the world over. Or at least it hasn't me.
Really, in this day and age, people just need to see a person for who they are inside, not what sexual orientation they choose. _____________________
