I also post out of boredom from work. I see myself as someone that did not understand what to expect when i posted. I know now if i post a disagreement with someone I should be expected to be attacked from every direction. I don't claim to be a great writer but I just can't back down from a fight.

I am a lurker  There's some pretty smart people here and I enjoy reading their posts, yes, funny is hot, too! I yell at my monitor sometimes when I read some posts and STILL I don't post, even though I have strong opinions about some things. Anyhoo... I'm not really bored at work, since I really like what I do... I just cannot stand who I do it with. The woman I report to is a crazy moving target and you never know when she's gonna strike. I am a translator, not a shrink, so I can't hlep her and I hate having to put up with her  *goes back to lurking* I put "thread killer" beside my name because of the absolutely huge amount of times that I post on a thread and not only get no response, but people stop posting on the thread altogether! Again, you would think this would make me shut up, but nooo. The big mystery to me is that I am exactly the same in RL, but waaay more popular. Somehow, it seems that if you can see my face and body in RL I come across as a humorous, entertaining and loveable sort of person, (this out of the mouth of my friends and workmates), but apparently if you can ony read my words in cyberspace, I am some kind of haranguer that not many folks talk to. (wah!) _____________________

I guess I see myself as a bit of a loudmouth. I have an opinon on absolutely everything and cant seem to stop letting folks know about it. Like Euterpe I dont feel I get any feedback on most of my posts, so being insecure I imagine that they are basicly unwelcome comments, but again.. I can't stop! For the most part, I check my RL asshat personality at the forum doors. Embrace the kinder, gentler me  My penchant for reading ALL the posts leaves me almost no time to add my own. I think most people see me as this happy go lucky without a care type person, and so when I do post something that I feel is contributing, it confuses people.  _____________________
