I should have known Euterpe would have heard of Billy Bacon
Currently, I have my J-Unsorted folder loaded up, and the next songs are: Jim Carol Band - People Who Died Joan Jett - Bad Reputation (I don't know how it got in there) Joan Osborne - St. Theresa Johnny Burnette Trio - Rockabilly Boogie Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now Eh... I'm too lazy to sort them. _____________________

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs "El Matador"
(If you like ska, 80s obscurities, proto-grunge (Violent Femmes), the soundtrack to the film Grosse Pointe Blank packs quite a bang for the music-buying dollar. Actually, there are two soundtracks--both are great. This has nothing whatsoever to do with my obsession with John Cusack.) ![]() _____________________

Gave Sufjan Stevens a listen--ooooooooooooooo!! The album Illinoise sounds rich yet ironic--kinda' like a tiramisu with a sense of humor. The song titles are priceless!!
This will be my next album purchase! Thank you, Chip. _____________________

This will be my next album purchase! Thank you, Chip. My pleasure Definitely one of the most unique albums I've ever heard. It's like a progressive folk concept album. Definitely ironic and loaded with pathos. Unapologetically odd without being trite. My favorite song title from it: "The Black Hawk War, or, How to Demolish an Entire Civilization and Still Feel Good About Yourself in the Morning, or, We Apologize for the Inconvenience but You're Going to Have to Leave Now, or, 'I have fought the Big Knives and will continue to fight them until they are off our lands!'" (quite possibly the longest song title in history)._____________________
