From: Infinite Somme - What does Indymedia have to do with you using Google to get the vast majority of your lengthy posts?
- Diatribe applies well to most of your posts and I doubt many would dissagree.
- You verified the information by using Google. Amazing!
I am not at all passionate about the strike but I don't think you are either. This is another soapbox for you so you can read your favorite posts, yours! One last minor thing, are you aware that your name is right next to all of your posts and signing them is redundant? Combative much? ~Ulrika~

From: Ulrika Zugzwang Sure! How about doubling the cost of gasoline to pay for mass transit like in Europe or charging a fee for automobiles in Manhattan like they do in London? God forbid you should have to pay the people that serve you a living wage. ~Ulrika~ We invaded Iraq for cheap oil and by god we'd better have it. Hell no to any more taxes on our gasoline!! How hard could it be to drive a bus? Lets just fire the entire MTA workforce and replace them with people happy to do the job.

There's talk that since they organized 30,000 people to violate the law on them not-striking, that it could be considered organized crime.

Now they are saying the union leaders maybe arrested for calling an illegal strike. The union leaders are probably still getting paid during the strike while the strikers are losing money.

Get over your damn hostility to Unions in the US! Working women and men are what made this country great - the American Dream meant an opportunity for us all! Read your damn American History! Until the union movement in this county - working conditions were deplorable. I say a living wage for a day's labor - and yes 55 is an Excellent! age to retire!

I say a living wage for a day's labor - and yes 55 is an Excellent! age to retire! Yes! That's what I'm talking about. You're officially on my forum good list for the next month. You'll be given priority in all replies and always treated courteously. ~Ulrika~

Unions are dead. This is the global economy. If you don't step in line, we'll just ship your job to India or wherever the hell its cheapest. Capitalism, my friend.
