No, the Iraqi civilians don't die from terrorist bombs. It defeats the purpose of a terrorist bomb. The civil war has been there all the time and in fact has excalated due to the lawlessness of the country after dethroning Saddam. And no, the terrorists don't have a hard time attacking the US troops. They are willing to die for their cause already, so theres nothing hard about running up to armour and killing yourself in the process. In fact, its the other way round. Its only natural that the coalition can't afford to take human casualties because its hard to weed out the locals, so air bombardment is the answer.
And you reading a dubious blog thinking it to be canonical already proves what I said. I'm sure eveything there is representative of the Iraqi population.

Yes, the Iraqi civilians die quite a lot from terrorist bombs. The terrorists like to drive car bombs up to groups of little kids and blow them up. Do you skip reading those stories, so you can continue to believe that the terrorists are great freedom fighters? Right, we should have left Saddam the dictator in power because the Iraqi people require a leader that tortures and kills them, so they will stay in line. I think you might be a racist. Iraq has just as much chance as Europe and Japan in the 40s and 50s to become a strong, sane democracy. Why do you feel like any kind of change in the world is unacceptable? Stagnation kills. Dubious? Yea, that's what you call anything that doesn't fit in with your religious beliefs about things. Dismiss everything that doesn't fit. Then wonder why you don't really know anything.

Don't be too specific, otherwise we might actually understand the rules here.
