Seahawks 32, Steelers 17 I expect the Seahawks to go for a 2 point conversion (and succeed) at some point early in the second half. A turnover by the Steelers, and some fine time management by Holmgren & Co. will propell the Seahawks to their first NFL Championship since their introduction into the league in 1976. Jim Zorn is my football hero. When you are 10 years old, your hero only needs to be someone who resembles you a little....Jim Zorn is left-handed too. He was also the greatest quarterback the Seahawks ever had

I predict that one team will win, one will lose, and there will be a distinct paucity of nipples at the half-time show.
I am now accepting bets on this outcome at odds of 1:0, please submit all wagers in small, unmarked L$ to Introvert Petunia. Winners will be paid scrupulously following the afformentioned atheletic competition. Would someone be so kind as to tell me when that is?

I predict the game will probably be on at my house, since my father is here, but he'll likely sleep through it... and I will probably just watch some of the overpriced commercials in the middle of breaking up fights between my kids.

From: Chip Midnight I predict I won't watch or care who wins Yeah, anyone who cares isn't on the SL boards right now anyway. They are either sleeping off the Super Bowl weekend fun they've been having, or getting ready to join friends and family for a Sunday of Food, fun, and camaraderie.

Seahawks 24 Steelers 13
And I agree, Jim Zorn was thier best, or at least most exciting Quarterback ever. Back in the expansion days, they were such a wild and fun team to watch. Anything could happen.
I am a bit pissed at the way the media has treated them in comparison with the Steelers (whom I like as well), and just hope Seattle doesn't crack under the pressure and prove them all right.

I'm predicting two McDonald's ads, two Geiko, two Aflac, two Coca-Cola, five automotive, three misc. PR spin (ie. GM "ecomagination" spam), and at least one Jacko-esk scandal. Oh yeah, and a pretty good game, too. It begs the question: "O Rly?" http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Image:Superb_owl.jpg

My childhood hero was Mumm-Ra. Shredder was pretty cool too.

Oh Poo! My Skins didn't make it to the SuperBowl. Came close enough though. Maybe next year...or the year after that....maybe 2009? Anyways...who's performing at half time? I'll tune in then. That's the good part. hehe

I predict that someone will be offended by a stupid commercial, and make a federal case of it.

One team will win, the other will lose. And the losers will state somewhere "There's always next year/season" while one of the winners will make the "I'm going to Disneyworld" statement. Would be more exciting without all the padding & protection! And C'mon Football fans!! Show yer enthusiasim or disdain like the soccer fans!!- Riot!!! I've always been more of a sumo wrestling fan. Just something cool about large japanes guys in 'diapers' pushin' N shovin' each other outta the ring.'

Man, the Stones sounded terrible at halftime. Quote from my 11 yr old (who has no idea who the Stones are) "That guy needs a new hearing aid! Can't he tell how bad he sounds?" LOL!

LOL! Yes, I agree. They were absolutely ear wrenching! I kept thinking they were going to stop and lo and behold...another song! I would have rathered hear Aretha blow out a few tunes. She drowned out Aaron Neville on the Star Spangled Banner.

Oh god the Steelers won. Since I live in Seattle I have to prepare myself for my beating when my husband gets home.
