Please tell me why you are for or against censorship thought police

I would love to read your point of views when and how it is good/wrong.

Now to help the Lindens we could be contructive and think further about this. If its alowed then how far should it go. If its not allowed how can the Lindens do something about it?

I am for it and think the Lindens should write that in their TOS before the "fun freedom of thought, expression and personal lifestyles gets out of control".

Against. How can there be censorship without the option to hand the guilty party over to the Inquisition?

I, for one, am completely in favor of thought police. My own thoughts are always well-behaved, bland, moderately helpful, and amusing in a nonthreatening way... something like lobotomized Oompa-Loompas. I have nothing to fear from the thought police, and in fact welcome any group that would target those whos thoughts are less well-conditioned than my own.

I'm voting for pecan pie, though, because pecan pie is delicious.

There is nothing I find more offensive than censorship thought police.

When your every move is watched, the only safe vote is for pecan pie, until they get around to scanning your mind and realize that you are lying, and that you really like apple pie.

A well thought out, deep analysis of these kinds of statistics are exactly what you need to win the game of Second Life.

What that previous sentence actually means is beyond me. I may be misunderestimating the brainpower of the forums.

Why wasn't YES an option? I demand a new thread with a new pool with YES as an option. I don't have to reveal my RL opinions to you and your fascist ways.

I vote Pecan Pie... Simply because by voting either way, you are going with the whole concept of censorship. Even by voting that it is bad/against, you are enacting censorship on someone else's freedoms. (I know.. Usually I wouldn't care about others either, but I'm a bit happy on benadryl.) Sadly, by following that process of thought, one also allows censorship to win, simply by censoring your own thoughts to allow others their freedoms. And as to having "censorship thought police?" *shivers* The poor sots are chosen/hired/beat you up to get the position of telling others how to think... Oh, wait.. that's any form of government! Nevermind.

Well, I assume they'd also be raping puppies, so that would be a bit offensive.

I am for censoring police thought because those thoughts get through my tinfoil hat. :(

I'll see your censorship thought police child avatar dancing in a porpoise club and raise you to a censorship thought police wearing a pregnant child avatar and dancing in a porpoise club while her pimping master watches!
