I checked, but unfortunately, it looks like the boots are no longer on sale :(

If I was any good at making prim shoes, I'd so try it. But maybe someone else could....?

Zap--fascinating thing about that piccie is apart from pink, green, and black, I sometimes use yellow as an intermediary. ;)

It's Pokeweed, Torley --and those are infact the color of them. They might look tasty --but they are quite poisonous.

You should have seen the watermelon images I found! Did you know, Torley, that there is quite the art form of carving them? Into giant roses and whatnot. And all I've ever done is melon balls.

Materials
About 3 oz. red aran-weight yarn
About 1 oz. green aran-weight yarn
A few yards black yarn
A few yards white yarn
(I used Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted)
US #9 / 5.5mm double-pointed needles

Gauge 16 sts/4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch

Size Adult average (21" circumference)

With green, CO 84 sts and join. Work in k2, p2 rib for 1.25". Switch to white and stockinette stitch and work 1 rnd, increasing one stitch at the end (85 sts).


Work 6 rounds even with red.
Next round: *K4 red, k1 black, repeat from * to end of rnd.
Work 6 rounds with red.
Next round: K2 red, *k1 black, k4 red, repeat from * to last 3 sts, end k1 black, k2 red.

Rep the entire italicized section once more. K even with red until hat measures 8" from CO edge, decreasing 1 st on the last round (84 sts).

Decrease for top:
Rnd 1: *K2, k2tog, rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 2: Knit.
Rnd 3: *K1, k2tog, rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 4: Knit.
Rnd 5: K2tog around.
Rnd 6: Knit.
Rnd 7: K2tog around.
Rnd 8: K2tog around.

Break yarn, thread through rem 6 sts, pull tight and fasten off. Weave in ends.
